Whitehall Branch Library Services

Library Collections

The new building of the The Whitehall Branch of Columbus Metropolitan Library opened in April 2015 and serves as a wonderful amenity for the Whitehall community. The library offers residents a collection of books, compact discs, DVDS, magazines, newspapers, and books-on-CD that can be borrowed at no cost. Obtaining a free library card is the first step in checking out materials from the library’s collection.

If you don’t have access to a computer or the Internet, come to the library. The library offers free wireless Internet, Microsoft Office products, and more. There are 20 computers that can be booked for 15 and 60 minute sessions, up to three times per day. There are also dedicated computers for children to access creative educational games.

Job & Homework Help Centers

Another valuable service available at the library is the Job Help Center. Get help creating a resume, creating a free email account, applying for jobs, improving typing skills, researching a company, and much more. It’s open at the Whitehall Branch Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Children in grades K-12 can use the Whitehall Branch’s Homework Help Center Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. The Homework Help Center is equipped with many text books used in the Whitehall and Columbus School Districts, computers and supplies for any grade or subject. Most importantly, trained staff and volunteers are available to work with kids one-on-one to complete assignments.
