Kids Disc Golf 

Mondays September 25, 2017 through October 16, 2017       6-7:30pm
Location:  Meet at the Front Door to Whitehall Community Park Activity Center
Grades 1 through 12

This intro course will teach kids the fundamentals of how to play disk golf. Disk will be provided. There will be a tournament on the last day of the program. 

Animal Charades

Career Critters

October 7, 2017 3-4pm

Grades 4-6

Students will learn about organisms and their niches and solving environmental problems!

Your Footprint:  Impacting the Outdoors

October 15, 2017 2-3pm

Location: Meet at the Front Door to Whitehall Community Park Activity Center
Grades 6-8

Students will examine their own values and belief related to wildlife and the environment, while learning how their actions could affect the natural environment.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words 

October 28, 2017 2-3pm

Location: Meet at the Front Door to Whitehall Community Park Activity Center
Grades 9-12

Students will examine and learn about the importance of wildlife management and how technology has changed the ways we manage and examine wildlife. 


YMCA Partner Programs

Check out amazing after-school programs offered in partnership through the YMCA, Whitehall City Schools and Parks and Recreation.

YClub

After school for kindergarten through 5th grade students at C. Ray Williams Early Childhood Center from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. daily. Homework help is provided for 20-30 minutes. Ongoing enrollment; spring 2017 rate: $45/week.

Afterschool Enrichment Program

2nd grade through middle school students at multiple schools from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. daily. Homework help, tutoring and food provided for participants. Sign up prior to November, annually.

After-School Middle School and High School Study Tables and Meals

Offered for the first hour after school. High school students can also stay for an additional hour on select days.
