On the May 3 Primary Election ballot, Whitehall voters approved a 2.822 mill property tax levy to support the Whitehall Division of Police. Proceeds from the levy will be 100% dedicated to police operations and capital expenses, including an expansion and renovation of the Division of Police Station and the hiring of six new sworn officers.  Learn more about the levy below.

  1. Renovation of Division of Police Station on S. Yearling Road, allowing for improved police operations and space for the Whitehall police force to expand
  2. The addition of six new sworn officers, offset in part by a COPS Hiring Program Grant

  4. Enhanced police technology and equipment
